There were few comics in my house growing up. I was gifted Beanos when we went back home, but excluding that, there were only three comics in the house- Dilbert Gives You the Business, How to Get Rich, Fall in Love, Lose Weight, and Solve All Your Problems by Saying "No", and L'Avenir du Chat.

I love reading a book, going "wow, that was fantastic! I really understood and connected with that." And then reading reviews. You know what? Not everything is for everybody and that's cool.

There's many, many things I dislike about n52. It, amongst another things, led to me not reading comics for a decade. That said, going back recently, I really appreciated All Star Western, Batwing, and Demon Knights. The things that worked from it, for me, were largely from the magical element.
