I may be drawing The Flash, now, but until October, Superman will still the character I've drawn the most and spent the most time with in my career. To say I've been incredibly fortunate is an understatement. I hope I get back to him some day. Happy Superman Day. #supermanday

Alright. I'm officially done with JSA: Year One. As a fan of these characters, it's been a dream getting to spend so much time with them over the last year. It's always a bittersweet leaving a book, and it still is here, but boy, I'm happy to be back to only 1 monthly title.

Got a chance to read the first issue of @ryannorth.ca @gavinguidry.bsky.social and #AdrianoLucas' Flash and it's smart, funny, sweet, and exciting. North bring some much-needed juice to The Flash and Guidry's art is more than up for the challenge. Loved it.

Unfortunately, I’m buried under my last double deadline for JSA and Flash, so I have to cancel my appearance at Emerald City Comic Con next week. I love the show and the city, so I’m pretty bummed, but the work is the work! Hope everyone has a good show and I’ll be back soon!

So, on my mom’s side, one of her branches, through my Nana is the Dugas family. Turns out they were on the very first ship of Acadians that came to Louisiana in 1765, along side Beausoleil (who I mentioned last time, was an outlaw alongside my dad’s ancestor Pierre Guidry). 1/4

So, through this recent (re)digging into family history, I found out that there are less records of my ancestors in Nova Scotia than other Acadians cause we were a “vagabond family” that didn’t stay in major villages, electing instead to live in more mixed communities with the Mi’kmaq, like LaHave.

I think an important indictment on the ability/quality of GenAI is that none of their multiple ads were made by AI.
