I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired. If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.

My husband @captmarkkelly.bsky.social is a 25-year Navy combat pilot veteran. He served our country with strength, courage, and integrity. The President called him a traitor and demanded he be executed. It is dangerous and wrong. Americans need to stand up and say so.

For what it’s worth, as a commander and officer it was my duty, moral obligation, and legal requirement to first question and then to not obey any illegal order I was given. The same is true for everyone who swear their oath. Hope that clears things up.

We were all told over and over again to NOT OBEY UNLAWFUL ORDERS. So its totally appropriate for a combat Vet like @captmarkkelly.bsky.social to remind servicemembers of their oaths.
