We still have a lot of snow, but the light is getting to be spring light! This red-breasted nuthatch came in just before sunset and paused a moment from its foraging, seemingly to enjoy the warm evening light!

‘Face-off’, 2019. Still finding my feet here. Thanks for the lovely, warm welcome yesterday. So, a question. What’s the vibe in the photo-community here? Do we mostly just share photos (fine by me), or are we more discursive?

Each spring, I embark on a journey through Norway's western highlands to capture the majestic waterfalls in their full, snowmelt-fed glory. The following images are a testament to these trips. One of the images showcases the morning sun illuminating the snow-capped peaks.

Ok, last one of this dude. Gambel’s quail are excellent and fast runners. These birds rarely fly, being slow in flight...but still too fast for me to get a nice bif. I've tried, trust me! I hear 'Desert Quail' and 'Arizona Quail' are possible new names...🤔 📸 Gambel's Quail, #122 already 🪶🌿

I love urban birding. Did some birdwatching in the heart of Bangkok. I was told my friends who don’t really know birds “you won’t find any birds, I never see any in the city”. And neither did I… before I started actually birdwatching Anyone else love urban birding?
