If you're curious - here's my VERY half-baked list of the longest novels ever written, cobbled together from wikipedia articles that have long been deleted. (I am only atempting to read the ones with professionally published English translations, for ease of access.)

There are two rules in my lifelong quest to read all of the longest novels ever written - unabridged versions only, and I'm not allowed to quit a book. So, I am now on year five of trying to work my way through Alan Moore's "Jerusalem", lol. It's just...so meandering. But I must finish it!!!!!!!
