New work in JGP from the Barefield Lab! Myosin binding protein H-like (terrible name) and its big brother, myosin binding protein-C have similar C'-terminal regions. Nonsense mutations in C protein are well known to prevent sarcomere incorporation. But what about this relatively unstudied paralog?
