About 70% of the U.S. economy runs on consumer spending. But as wealth concentrates at the top, the richest 10% can’t spend enough to sustain it — while everyone else can’t afford to. Reminder that trickle-down economics simply doesn’t make sense. It’s a hoax.

Cole makes allot of sense here: MAGA loud at home, suddenly quiet abroad? That’s not pride, that’s a costume. Political conviction shouldn’t have an off switch the moment you board a plane. Own your choices or reconsider them.

By itself, Trump's failure to win over allies won't hurt him with his base. In fact, it'll probably help him. During the Iraq War, the GOP base praised Bush as a hero for putting together a "coalition of the willing" *and* enjoyed hating France and Germany for staying uninvolved ("Axis of Weasels").

I hate this. Folks who work their entire lives should be able to retire with dignity and some peace. This story may have a happy ending, but for far too many seniors it does not. 📌 Richard Pulley, 78, was forced out of retirement and had to take a DoorDash gig after his wife lost her job.

To be clear: the SAVE Act does not simply require the identification voting ALREADY requires. It demands proof of CITIZENSHIP— a birth certificate with a name that matches yours now (bye, bye, married women), or a passport— both of which are expensive and take a long time to obtain.
