If you manage a customer support person, or team, hold space for them always but especially THIS holiday season. After election-holidays sees increases in harassment and impatience. It’s important for you in a management position to trust your team, and have their back should things escalate.

This is the absolute worst time for customer service teams. Be kind, patient and treat people the way you’d want to be treated. Know that almost every issue/error can be resolved. But harassing, yelling or threatening these employees will get you no where. Full stop.

Using censored words and making intentional misspellings is a flinch-reflex artifact after years of being algopilled by Twitter. There are robust moderation tools here that safeguard your posts: tactical mutes, nuclear blocks, labeling, block lists. You don't need to write in code on Bluesky.
