My copies of Fangwild and Foliate just arrived - seems like forever ago I wrote Fangwild. I know the publisher has had trouble getting these out, I think they are going to restructure for the next release - I hope so as I was really pleased with my scripts for issues 2-5.

VEHI-KILL Vol 1: Traffic is Murder releases from @markosia.bsky.social on the 29th August. I don’t talk about this book enough - it was my chance to do Ghostbusters type stuff and I loved it. The book’s artist @norrie.bsky.social did amazing work here - he draws an incredible possessed car.

This turned up this morning from @rorydraws4.bsky.social I cannot stress how glorious this book is. It just drips in love and joy and fun. Rory has such a clear vision of the story and world he's created, and it gels perfectly with his expressive art. This makes me smile so much.

Just a polite request, if you're sending your letterer, or any creative in your comic, edits using AI to show how you want things laid out...please don't. You're feeding my work, your artists work and your colorists' work into the plagiarism machine without our permission, thus feeding the beast.

Last year, I had one of my polycystic kidneys removed to make space for a kidney transplant. Today, I found out that the remaining kidney has grown so large, pressing in my stomach, lungs, and heart - that it now needs to be removed as well. Not great.

Shocked to hear that Jim Shooter has passed. Heard so many stories and I know he was a polarising figure to many other creators - but his work was the foundation of so much of the Legion of Superheroes that I love - and the UK reprints of his Secret Wars became my gateway into US comics. RIP.

I can’t quite put my finger on why I love DEPT. Q so much. There is inherently nothing new being done here - and yet, I’ve never seen things done this way. I’m utterly gripped. I adore each miserable, angry, messed up character so much. And Alexej Manvelov needs an award for his Akram.

First day off this year. Physically unable to actually function without finally getting some kind of rest today. So the plan is to rewatch old episodes of HOUSE MD to remind myself that pre my health issues, I ironically used to be a shit hot medical analyst.
