The strangest acquisition from Thought Bubble 2024. And one of the strangest books I've ever read. The newspaper stories are by turns weird and horrifying. The illustrations by @jwebstersharp.bsky.social are mind-blowing. Truly unique.

A welcome delivery from the pen of @russellmarkolson.bsky.social. Super stuff. And a great, simple back cover that paints a perfect picture.

Revisited this rather excellent gritty crime story by @jordanthomas.bsky.social Chris Matthews and @letteringbear.bsky.social. Just as good as when I first delved into the Mugshots world.

And yet more from the TBub24 stack. This fine horror/ere collection from @rapiaghi.bsky.social, @robjoneswrites.bsky.social and various others was fine (gruesome) entertainment. The two tales with the guy oblivious to, and inadvertently killing, a couple of eldritch threats were standouts for me.

A real favourite from my TBub24 haul. A great (if slightly skewed) take on my favourite comic book character by Ed Pinsent. Y'know sometimes when you stumble across something really special. Well...

My favourite writer since my early teens. So glad this is in print as I can revisit some old friends and meet a couple of new ones. As powerful and uniquely voiced as ever. Sadly missed.

Rewatched. Really rather good (for that, read "excellent"). Dark Knight an obvious favourite. Some issues with the way it all ended but that's just the purist in me.
