It's as bad in the UK, but there was a point over the weekend when @jimsorenson.bsky.social and I were talking, taking in the diversity of the crowd, and it dawned on us how much a happy gathering like TFN is not just a respite from, but really an act of resistence in the face of the evils of today.

Designed a pair of characters for @chrismcfeely.bsky.social and @jimsorenson.bsky.social 's big TFN presentation. They seemed to go over pretty well; straight after the panel, someone came and commissioned one of them, a few people asked for permission to do fan art, and more just came and said so.

Very soon, I'll be taking the stage with Mr. @jimsorenson.bsky.social to reveal the secrets of the G1 cartoon that never was!
