Watching @toygrind.bsky.social’s latest video reminded me that I also have both volumes of the Allspark Almanac, I’d forgotten I had them! Mine are signed by @jimsorenson.bsky.social, Bill Forster and the late great Derrick Wyatt. I forgot how amazing these books are!

I picked up this OG @sarahgraley.com book from the pre-loved section at a local comic shop today and upon opening it just now it’s actually signed!! I don’t know who Glyn is, but it’ll go well with my books I got signed at comic con a few years ago!

I’ve finished my Scarlet Spider suit! l’ve ordered some better web shooter gauntlets, more closely resembling my original idea, but these ones will do for now! I bought the Lycra bodysuit but everything else has been either made from scratch or modified by myself! I’m super happy with it!

I now have all the pieces to start my very very dumb new Warhammer 40K army! It’s so very very dumb and I’m so excited!

Another part of my Scarlet Spider cosplay, and one that I thought about for a while, is complete! It’s all coming together!

Just commissioned a well-known prop maker for some pieces to complete my dream cosplay! Just waiting on an Aliexpress order for parts so I can finish making what I can make myself! It’s all coming together!! Eye lenses and hoody made by me!

Leicester Comic-Con was… Ok. If you like Pokemon cards or Plushies you probably had the best time, but for me being a Marvel Legends and Comics collector it wasn’t the best. Still, I bought a couple of cool comics, including an early issue of 2000’s Ultimate Spider-man!

Enroute to Leicester Comic-Con! I’m hoping to find some cool stuff there, but I guess we’ll see what we can find! If you’re also there, please come and say hi!

New Spider-man cosplay incoming… Still got quite a bit to do, but holy crap I’m so excited! Possibly my favourite Spider-man character of all time, the Scarlet Spider! The white lenses I made from scratch, the hoody is from Primark, I made, cut and spray painted the stencil.

I managed to find this amazing 1997 Marvel Universe 12in Scarlet Spider figure in a local vintage toy shop today! I love the Scarlet Spider suit and getting a vintage figure has been a bit of a grail for me, so I’m happy to have him in my small 90s 1/6 collection! Just need a vintage 5in one now!

I forgot I had this! It’s a pretty rare vintage 80s Transformers Soundwave tape player! I retrieved it from my Dad’s house last time I visited, only problem is he’s massive and I’m not sure where to display him!

In all the “excitement” of my relationship ending I forgot to post pictures of series 2 of the Blokees Spider-man figures. Here’s a group shot of both waves, I’ll take some decent photos of them individually soon, might help to cheer me up a little. Love to you all.

So my relationship ended yesterday. It was mutual, we both realised that we couldn’t provide what the other needs right now. It doesn’t suck any less though.

Apparently I moved into my flat 2 years ago today! That time has gone very quickly! I still love living here, even if solo living gets a little lonely at times.

Popped to my Dads today and managed to dig out a huge chunk of my graphic novel/tpb collection from his shed, including my favourites which I though were lost/destroyed: The complete Peter Parker story for Ultimate Spider-man! I can’t wait to re-read these!!

I’m hosting some animation workshops at a local arts festival today! I’m very excited about it but it’s definitely going to be a true test of my social anxiety! Hoping the ADHD hyper focus means I just won’t notice! Wish me luck!

Today I was Smyths toys, stood next to a group looking through the marvel figures whilst checking stock on their phone. They ended up grabbing a member of staff who checked the back, then came back to help them look… For the Daredevil: Born Again Punisher figure… That was in my hand…

So the HP show trailer is out. I used to like HP, read all the books, loved the movies and even applied for a tour guide job at the studio, but have avoided it since Joanne started her bullshit. I caught a glimpse of the new trailer and it just looks exactly the same as the movies? Who is this for?

Back in 2005 I began living a straight edge lifestyle, a punk subculture based on no alcohol, smoking or illegal/harmful drugs. In 2025 I celebrated 20 years of this lifestyle and today I cemented this by getting a new tattoo! Almost at 21 years edge and counting, I’m now a hand tattoo person!

Electrician has finished so I can finally leave the house!

Got an electrician here sorting out my supposedly illegal plastic fusebox so I’m without power for up to 6 hours, which is just neat. It’s also overcast so very little bright light getting in so I can’t even read all that easily. A dilemma indeed!

I’m holding off on viewing these clips so I can just watch the full Spidey Trailer tomorrow, but one of the things I’m liking with the tiny bits I’m seeing is that his costume moves and feels like actual fabric that bunches and wrinkles, rather than the weird CGI smoothness of the other movies!

I can’t remember if I ever posted this, but here is my lightly customised/modified ITSV Spider-man figure! I shaved his hip ball joints and his torso to allow more movement, and I added a wash into the web line recesses to make the webs pop a little more! It really adds to this underrated figure!

It’s been a while, so here’s a mini figure photography thread! First up, it’s Marvel Legends Spider-Venom! A solid figure on my favourite body type, but his chest ball joint is super tight, I’m worried about snapping it. He looks cool as hell! The chain accessory takes up tons of space though! 1/2

Picked up this awesome Spider-Venom figure today, I’ve not read the comics he’s from but I love the new take on the black Spidey suit! This chain accessory though, how the shit are you supposed to display this?
