This is not a good photo. The colour is a little off and I will take better pictures tomorrow when I have natural light, but I think they came together OK. There’s a few things I will have to refine with practice, but considering some of these species are my first attempts, I’m pretty pleased.

I was involved in an early consultation on the design of the NDIS & pointed out the obvious potential for problems. I was told by a senior PM&C official not to worry, & that (even as a former regulator in the vocational education sector) I didn’t understand because the NDIS would be different!

The problem with the NDIS - and there is a problem - is the same one Australia always faces. If you let small businesses exploit the public purse, they'll exploit it mercilessly (remember pink batts or any one of a 100 such programs). The key is in the system design, not the auditing of it.
