Federal judge P. Casey Pitts in San Francisco just blocked ICE and the DoJ from making civil arrests at immigration courthouses. These arrests put asylum seekers in an impossible position: show up and risk detention, or skip court and lose their chance at protection. Finally, a judge with BALLS!

If ICE is needlessly using these tactics on unarmed, harmless individuals, then the police must step in to prevent that level of abuse. Then get the names of the ICE Agents so individuals can sue them and maybe legally prosecute them. Scary, how no one is protecting and serving our communities.

Just remember that many of those "convicts" were deported "beyond the seas" by British judges for crimes such as stealing food for their starving families...
