The Supreme Court granted the Trump administration’s emergency appeal to temporarily block a court order to fully fund SNAP food aid payments.

Spotlight is such a good movie. I'm watching it for at least the 3rd time.

The rule of law has been upheld, not the whims of a wannabe king. Today a federal judge issued a permanent injunction against the National Guard being deployed in Portland. This affirms what we’ve always known: Portland is home. Not a military target.

Our message to the Trump administration is simple: Enough is enough. Fund the government. Fix the mounting health care crisis. Put working people first.

These are people who are complying with the law. They're coming to their hearings, doing what's asked of them. ICE is snatching them up because Trump wants numbers, and it's a lot easier and cheaper to detain compliant people than to hunt down dangerous people evading apprehension.
