I've been digging into the MUN budget. Despite these "necessary" cuts to things like the Harris Centre, the admin is adding an extra $1,536,493 Administrative Salaries totalling $126,665,836 for 2025-26. They allocated $470,915 for 100th anniversary programming and to a Canada games project office.

The MUN cuts to public engagement and the Harris Centre are beyond frustrating, the university is seriously going to do anything except cut the bloated administration.

I have some thoughts about Jubilee and their most recent video with Mehdi and the self professed fascist and fascist sympathizers. I think debates are healthy for democracy, but without fact checking all they are doing is giving a platform for dangerous misinformation.
