What’s a media psychologist doing at a psychedelics conference? 💊🧘‍♀️ I was at ALPS to present a research agenda on psychedelic-assisted therapy and social media and it was FUN. First things I did: meditated and listened to music coming from shrooms 🍄 Had plenty of insights (interdisciplinarity!!)

Getting rid of academic journals in favor of capturing ongoing comments and suggestions from experts would make the world a better place.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present the final study of my doctoral dissertation at the @icahdq.bsky.social conference in Denver, Colorado. This experiment explores how emotional support provision can obscure the critical evaluation of mental health misinformation.
