Reading the ultra wealthy complain about a French wealth tax proposal (“It’s collectivism, it’s communism . . . it’s a fundamental attack on my freedom and right to property.”) brings a little warmth and joy to my otherwise cold and sad heart.

I really enjoyed reading @abenanav.bsky.social’s vision for a new kind of economic system — one where we have more authority over production and more freedom in our lives. It entails using technology in a very different want, and by extension building it much differently too.
