I’m very much a “find out ic” person, especially because Rhela is such a liar. Even if she tells someone about her past, there is no way to tell what’s true and what isn’t. That said. If someone has backstory in their card, I do enjoy reading it.

There is nothing morally grey about Rhela, btw. I wouldn't say she's evil, because she straight up does not believe in the concept. But she is not a good person and she actively chooses, over and over again, to live the life that she does.

Like it's fine to enjoy characters who are morally dubious murderers who may or may not have had sympathetic motives to do what they do, but I LOATHE the impulse to be like "I can't like a character who's morally bad, so I have to interpret their bad actions as Good so people don't think I'M bad"

Rhela lives like she’s broke as hell, but she has a stupid amount of money. Years of mercenary work, dealing relics and stolen goods and other questionable items, and several fat winner’s purses from fight tournaments. Now she owns a fairly successful shipping company that supplements her income.

I write really, really good dialogue. I've been complimented on it a lot, and I feel like it just comes across as very raw and genuine. I am also really good at writing assholes. And horrible old men. Sorry not sorry.

Writing a whole thread about Rhela’s sexuality and then deleting it 🫠 TLDR I hate when people are reductive about it. Rhela has sex. She experiences attraction. But only under very specific conditions. She’s not fight-sexual. Her “masochism” isn’t a sex thing it’s self harm with extra steps.

Her neck looks too long. To me. I don't notice it until I get into gpose but it makes me very self conscious about certain angles. Also begging people to stop pointing out that Rhela "can come across as mean". I KNOW. IT'S ON PURPOSE. She's an antagonist. She's not a good person. That is the point.
