yep, they look at streaming numbers and high lights but thats it and the reality is a lot of these streamers (just like Kirk) make sure that they have plenty of "okay" content that gets pushed out knowing most people won't watch everything/look at their associations. Agents need to be better

At this point, i’m considering it a dereliction of duty on the agent’s part if you allow your client to do any of these streams. The benefit ain’t there.

So when people say, "We need to improve officiating!" and I don't hear "And we must also make it so officials can do their job safely" as part of it? I know you're not serious about fixing officiating. Because those shortages and problems will continue.

Why would anyone want to be an official for women's hoops when you see how Kim Mulkey abuses officials and gets no punishment for it? Or a Little League umpire when parents spew torrents of abuse about a 10-year-old's game? And shortages at the lower levels affects the pipeline.

YUP. If there's any one thing that's true across sports -- all of them! -- is that there is a major officiating shortage, and a complete lack of accountability from coaches, players and fans on how their treatment of officials has helped create this shortage.

A tangent, but I frequently worry that the main real-world impact of analytics and “moneyballing” everything has been the inexorable rise of execs and other elites thinking they’ve derived formulas for successful action and then trying to duplicate the form with none of the substance.
