Congress will do nothing. This was clearly where Trump was headed and Congress couldn't even agree on saying bombing defenseless fishermen was wrong. They know the American public will reflexively gather round the flag. Politicians will only say how they were against it 20 yrs from now, if at all.

The US isn't even bothering to pretend our actions are about righteous restoration of "freedom" for those in the country we're attacking. Congress will do nothing, which is what this regime is counting on. The rest of the world better take note: we're the evil empire now. Nobody is safe.
