Having chronic migraine and having to cancel stuff, and then dealing with the endless questions when talking to people, all while your head is exploding. And of course the disappointed sighs. As if migraines were anxiety inducing enough.

When unwell for a long time, the minute you show any sign of improvement, the pressure is on to "get back to normal". This is both internal and external. It's hard to say no because you've disappointed people so much in the past. And then you land back into being ill again.
