Today was supposed to be the day Rory was clear to not have to wear his post-surgery onesie. Instead, he never got to put it on.

Rory's gone.

he's got to stay at the critical care hospital for at least 3 days and is only 'okay' right now per the doctor we spoke to, no guarantee he'll recover. as a bonus it's estimated another $6-9k so i guess i'm on fundraiser 2.0 to try denting that too.

A technician -- the same one that brought us in here -- just popped into our exam room and asked "Did they take Rory back already?" DO YOU SEE HIM WITH US? WHERE EXACTLY DO YOU THINK WE'RE KEEPING HIM? And more importantly, if you're in here looking for him, WHERE IS MY CAT?!?

Sorry I just realized I didn't post this: something went wrong overnight, Rory was anemic and seems to have a UTI as of this morning. They gave him a blood transfusion to get his numbers back up and have sent us to a critical care hospital. Waiting while they have him in the back.

We've been sent to another hospital. Waiting.

Just heard from the doctor, Rory is out of surgery and recovering well! They got the 3 lumps on his liver, but also found one on his gall bladder and another on his pancreas, which they also removed. My poor boy was so full of junk, but the doctor got them all!!

Rory is officially dropped off. Now we wait.

Rory's surgery date has indeed been bumped to tomorrow, so unless something cataclysmic happens, this seems to be the end of the fundraiser. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated, signal boosted, or even just hung out!!! You've all made a MASSIVE difference!!! Thank you so, so much!!!
