A ★★★★ review of The Christophers (2025) The Christophers is about a legendary artist now disgraced and deals with the forging of his work, clouding the true identity of the artist. And it's almost impossible not to see the film through a meta lens in the wake of director Steven Soderbergh revealing in a recent interview that he's used AI in the making of one upcoming film and is planning on using it for another. It seems unthinkable that Soderbergh, one of the initial heroes of the 90s indie movement and an Oscar/box-office king by the turn of the century, would turn to an environment-destroying plagiarism machine https://boxd.it/dV4mT3
