The title is fitting. A patient was being treated for Stage IV colorectal cancer. She had qualified for clinical trial, a her last-chance to slow the spread of her cancer. Her trial was about to start when NIH funding was pulled overnight, & it was canceled. She died. Many more stories. 🧪

I am thinking of so many conversations with undergrads who were uncomfortable with protests, sit-ins, and other tactics that "inconvenienced" white people, and I would ask them what approach Black Americans should have been using instead. They'd always say "voting" and then the penny dropped.

MAGA is applauding the April jobs report without mentioning that February was revised down. Again. The initial report said a loss of 92,000 jobs. Feb. was revised down by 41,000 to -133,000 in April. And it was just revised down AGAIN by another 23,000 jobs today. 156k jobs lost in February. 🤦‍♀️
