In this paper, CRN Team @jacksonlab.bsky.social found that LINE-1 transposable elements contribute to the complexity of the transcriptome in human pluripotent stem cells by acting as alternative promoters for approximately 100 genes. Check out the full #preprint: shorturl.at/TJ9BK
