Today I need to pick up some seam seal, and seal my tent fly. My ~25 year old MSR Hubba is still going strong, except for the flaking seam tape. A friend is visiting in a few weeks and we're hoping the weather will be decent enough for camping. As in, less than 6" snow in the mountains.

LGTBQ+ youth disproportionately experience homelessness compared to their straight and cis peers. In the US, up to 40% of unhoused youth identify as LGBTQ+. That’s why this series was created - to provide support, essential tips, and resources to youth who are so often overlooked by the system.

Do read through this thread--a very interesting project, with policy applications that could actually become reality in a place like Sweden, where they do fund trials of things like this, if the evidence supports doing so.

Uh oh. I think part of my problem is I'm not eating enough food at work, so I get hangry a couple hours after dinner, and that's eating too close to bed time, which makes me feel bad. So, snackies are needed for the afternoon.

This video is fantastic and absolutely true. We're going to get to some of this later in the series on peasants but the time-labor demand of 'household chores' before ten seconds ago was enormous. One 1900 report put the average food prep per week per woman at 44 hours; another 14 hours on laundry.
