If Trump had any real interest in addressing crime, his regime would work with law enforcement & Chicago leadership. Instead, he talks about “going in,” like he’s prepping a military invasion. This is nuts. This is dangerous. And it’s pitting states against states, echoing America’s deadliest war.

In the coming days, we expect to see what's playing out in LA and DC happen in Chicago. These efforts are not about fighting crime or making communities safer. This is about Donald Trump testing his power and producing political drama to cover up his own corruption.

Trump is going full dictator by pursuing an investigation into Miles Taylor. He also caved on HIS unilateral trade war. His Administration allegedly broke the law by revealing confidential information in Signal-gate. He has kidnapped and deported innocent immigrants. Keep track of it all.

A reminder: Republicans control the House and Senate and it would just take a few to stand up to Trump for the sake of our democracy and economy, but none of them will. All are complicit.
