Katyal: "I was able to go to court - the son of immigrants-- & say on behalf of small businesses, 'Hey, this president is acting illegally.' I was able to present my case, have them ask really hard questions, & at the end of it they voted & we won. That is something extraordinary about this country"

Neal Katyal son of immigrants went to SCOTUS won & overturned tariffs, Alysa Liu, daughter of an immigrant, went Olympics & won gold. Winners representing a fraction of the myriad contributions to American society made every damn day by immigrants. Diversity is our strength USA.

My statement:Ā āToday, the U.S. Supreme Court stood up for the rule of law and Americans everywhere. Its message was simple: Presidents are powerful, but our Constitution is more powerful still. In America, only Congress can impose taxes on the American people.

Earlier today, Neal Katyal argued against the government before the U.S. Court of Appeals challenging Donald Trump's tariff power. He compares the government's arguments to a "shell game."

I am utterly baffled by the highlighted part, which isn't even a quote from the Supreme Court's order. What are they doing?!

This is quite incredible. The US Justice Dept, under Trump, is defending its birthright citizenship Order by arguing that immigrant children covered by the Order cannot be citizens because... the children of Native Americans aren't US citizens.
