Deposit Return Scheme Regulations for England & Northern Ireland just passed in Westminster! With 97% of beaches surveyed by @mcsuk.bsky.social volunteers in 2023 polluted with bottles & cans we're delighted in this vital step towards Deposit Return Schemes starting across the UK by October 2027.

Final results for this years North West Highland Beach Cleans of the Balchladich beaches. Over 8 days 40 + volunteers removed 2550.1 kg of rubbish from both beaches. Special thanks to Assynt Field Club volunteers who removed 480kg from Balchladich on Wednesday.
