A huge well done to the 17 volunteers incl an enthusiastic Rhythm Nation Dance & Fitness team who removed 18kgs of waste from a VERY wet #Stonehaven Beach this morning. Finds incl a creel,vape,fishing rope, a plastic spade & 5.5 kgs of recyclables from the Playpark & Skatepark.

Picking up #litter on a #dog walk is a simple idea but so effective where lots of us do it as fewer folk drop litter when areas are clean. It’s also fab for #mentalhealth doing something that has an immediate visible impact. If we REALLY love animals it’s not a big ask is it?

I'd encourage all my fellow dog walkers to follow this advice. I often carry a plastic bag to collect rubbish I find on walks with Molly, but even one or two bits picked up and popped into a bin makes a difference.
