No policy is perfect, but at a time when urban progressive governance is under extreme attack, what message does it send that *New York City,* the largest, densest city in the country, can't even get rid of parking mandates during a historic housing crisis?

This should send chills up everyone's spine. One of the most popular news programs in the country giving favorable news coverage to the incoming president out of fear they'll be sued if they don't. Hard to call this any other than stone-cold authoritarianism in action.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: congestion pricing is the rare policy that will provide immediate, tangible benefits to everyone involved (including drivers). It will soon be a very popular policy and future generations will be shocked at the amount of wrangling over a simple toll.
