Robert Reisz isn't an anomaly. There are many versions of the same man, ruining lives of young people using public money. And you, as a junior member of this community, no matter how ethical you are, how much evidence you have against a monster, will risk a lot by reporting, but achieving nothing.

Harrowing knowing someone has been found guilty, with evidence, of serial harassment and professional misconduct to own students (of minority status). And faced no consequences, just a raise, new position abroad, and a Nature paper. Academia and palaeontology are a hotbed of lawless misconduct.
