Just for those who may be a little confused: This is how an American president should treat Putin.

Once again Trump appears to have been played by Putin. No ceasefire. No imminent meeting between Putin and Zelensky. No near term prospect of Trump applying threatened sanctions. Putin got a meeting on U.S. soil, Trump got flattered by Putin. Advantage Putin. Shameful.

None of this is about crime. It's about control. It's a power grab, plain and simple.
