Inexorably tying my ability to do most things I care about to paying a company to track my every move all the time with a device that constantly tries to hurt me is probably the most evil combination of things I struggle with on a day to day basis.

I'd love to just not have a phone. Every single thing a phone has ever done for me is offset by massive mental health problems, annoyances, expense, spyware, and giving companies money they have no right to. But if I get rid of it, I lose all of my accounts, my website, my ability to do ANYTHING -
