I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the story of this game and some of the soundtrack is still on my playlists.

I'd forgotten all about Elidon until I saw it in this article, but it's a game I definitely played in the 80s. I don't remember getting very far with it, but that may have been because I was playing a pirated copy with no instructions.

I've been in the loft this week and found a box containing my old PC games, so for #RandomGameSaturday here is my copy of the original Battlefield 1942. This is from the relatively brief period where I used Windows and did a lot of LAN gaming. The big selling point over CS was the vehicles.

For #RandomGameSaturday here is a game I picked up last week at #OLL26 Tetris Ultimate. My friends at uni had an original Gameboy and I frequently called in there on the way to lectures to play Tetris (and then not go to the lectures), so I felt it's a game I should have for my 3DS.

Playing my #C64U on the big telly

My #RandomGameSaturday is Spindizzy for the C64. This is one of the last games I ever bought for the system (upgraded to an Amiga 500) and I never really got very far with it because it requires more skill than I possess. However I always liked playing games with a bit of physics involved.
