I find myself once again enjoying the album Bleed by the band Bleed.

Scrubbing AOTY lists for cool stuff I missed this year and discovering that I missed a whole lot, actually.

I'm currently working on a few drawings that are a little more time-intensive, so today's artwork comes courtesy of the Archive of Attempts. I'd like to redo this one soon--it deserves an actual background, and actual color scheme, and some perspective correction.

My brother-in-law collects bug artwork, which certainly makes gift-giving easy for the people in his life who enjoy drawing bugs. Anyways, today's art is a cute lil' Red Milkweed Beetle chomping on a leaf. I had a lot of fun with this one.

It's got baroque harpsichord, industrial funk, prog disco, postpunk boots and cats, church organ, goth synth, big beat boombap, prog disco. You'll dance, you'll clap, you'll look up from your manga and nod with a wistful smile.

Was yesterday kinda uncharacteristically slow in the new releases department, or did I just miss a bunch of stuff?

Today's artwork is a revamped and colorized version of a sketch from a few years back. There's no established backstory for this character, but I like to imagine that this isn't the first time something like this has happened, nor will it be the last.
