I'm a harsh judge of non-Fromsoft soulslikes. I've tried and dropped many. Steelrising got devoured over the past few days. It's certainly not without faults. The story is mostly boring, enemy variety lacking, and backtracking tiresome. However, the combat is very fun and area design is fantastic.

Been playing Steelrising, and every time I encounter a new Automat I'm like... Yes, you are extremely gender.

I don't know who needs to hear it, but: SGDQ and Power Up With Pride game submissions both close on the 31st. You can absolutely submit the same runs, with the same videos, to both events, even if the videos mention GDQ in them! Two for the price of one!
