Oh hey it turns out another thing Covid cautious people have been saying nonstop for several years is true: lockdowns did not cause “immunity debt,” and Covid infections DO cause immune disruptions that make you more vulnerable to other illnesses.

I was attacked for saying we need layered mitigations on here this week but note that I am saying the same as WHO. This advice is current. Vaccines alone at this point in time are not enough though very important against COVID. Ventilation is extremely important.

Covid is a leading cause of death in children. In the US it has overtaken asthma as one of the largest causes of health problems. The media framing of ‘only the vulnerable’ was pushed out clearly to calm parents concerns. Did anyone stop to think who these children that died were? Many had 🧵

I was a Contact Tracing Practitioner with NHS Scotland. Schools were (and are) the primary drivers of Covid transmission. We *were not permitted* to flag school settings as High Risk.
