Huh....maybe one of the most succinct posts of why getting rid of vaccine access doesn't make sense and why these weirdos in power seem to want us all dead

The best episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark is "Dead Mans Float" hands down. But my personal favorite is the tale of Locker 22. I just love that one. I think maybe the time jumps just does it for me

Ran into one of my unhoused friends. When I met him he mentioned to me that he sees "vibrations in the lights" and thought it was some evil conspiracy. I do TV studio lighting. I told him that he wasn't crazy and that IN FACT LEDs operate on a sine wave frequency so he really could just be sensitive

One of my most reliable indicators of a new covid wave are friends and strangers on the internet saying they're sick (very few admit it's covid, but some do) even from all across the world and country. It's here and starting. This random metric has proven many times over MASK UP!

His body will lie in state at the Memphis airport for three days, then be delivered to its final resting place via Columbia, MO; Trenton, NJ; Springfield, MA; Charleston, SC; Bakersfield, CA; Trenton again for some reason; and will then register as "out for delivery" indefinitely.

It would be really funny if the tariffs really do lead to a toy shortage and the right scapegoats Santa and turns him into a Futurama-style dystopian version of Christmas. They love blaming people!

Cancelling my Verizon 5G home internet because of their complete and utter gall to cancel DEI policies to appease this regime for a merger with Frontier (also didn't Frontier spin off of Verizon FiOS to begin with?). But alas, these fuckers are gonna milk me for one last payment

US rule of law straining at the seams. US science infrastructure choked and reeling. Academic freedom squealing like a pig. Global economy teetering on the edge of meltdown. Wall St CEOs self-censoring on earnings reports. It took them 81 days. Talk about American exceptionalism.

From what I'm seeing in Europe, the real game changer here isn't really the Trump admin itself, but how quickly American elites - political, corporate, institutional and academic - just failed to respond and resist in any meaningful way. US prestige culture, as seen from abroad, just evaporated.

One of my biggest fears of day-to-day life now is that with virtually no FDA or CDC or staff that we're all gonna have to suffer through rounds and rounds of food poisoning since nobody is there to inspect. This is one thing I kinda hope capitalism creates a market where companies say "We're safe"

One thing that I want know is that if SS is gutted outright, or more likely scaled back..does that mean that the money we've paid into goes right to billionaires...does our payroll deduction go away if it's abolished....'m assuming it'll still get taken out in a comical "haha well you still pay us"

Zelensky found out what it was like to be a US governor in a blue state asking Trump for medical supplies during the pandemic. Or disaster relief after a wildfire or storm. It’s not his money, but he fully expects you to beg and plead for it and tell him how wonderful he is.
