Iâll never cease to be amazed at the indifference & lack of teeth shown by footballâs governing bodies in the face of such despicable behaviour.

The full scale of the exploitative market in children in care is laid bare in a new report from Ofsted, published today. Four out every 10 children in care now earn a profit for investors.

That was a budget from a leadership paralysed by a lack of strategic vision. They canât even communicate the wins because of the briefings & counter-briefings. Government by polling & focus groups is for the weak & that is what they are⌠Depressing.

Only the fourth ever hat-trick in this fixture, after Ted Drake (Arsenal, October 1934), Terry Dyson (Spurs, August 1961) and Alan Sunderland (Arsenal, December 1978) according to Opta. Seems mad, but suppose it's always been a game between two teams relatively close to each other - unlike today.

In 2020-21, Robert Lewandowski had 35% of Bayern Munich's xG, the highest ever mark for a player on a title-winning team in a top 5 league. Erling Haaland currently has 60% of Man City's xG.

Manchester City's over-reliance on Erling Haaland is crazier than you think
City are the top scorers in the Premier League this season, but only one of their players has found the back of the net multiple times.

"Denmark" is to Starmerism what "Australia" is to the Tory/Reform axis A mythical land whose policies are to be emulated with no real engagement with the reality of it or what it involves E.g. Over 30% of Australia's population was abroad, it's more of an immigrant melting pot than America

In 1622, when the Ottoman Sultan Mustafa I was supposed to be returned to power after years of imprisonment, he instead barricaded himself in his room and refused to come out, telling court officials "I do not want to be the Sultan". Not sure what made me think of that.

Beyond Man City, other clubs which profit directly from emirati patronage should ask themselves some inconvenient questions; and if they do not of their own accord, we fans should be pressuring them into doing so. These other clubs very much include Arsenal FC.
