How I want my library to look

I saw Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service & Spirited Away at a young age. Even though I didn’t have the language to express this, little-me was so touched that grown ups valued children’s experiences enough to put them on screen, making their stories beautiful & complex, treating them with respect.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune is ditching film criticism ... make it make sense, man.

In the midst of things getting worse with my mom, I’m trying to focus on the positive, including the debut of a new podcast featuring my fiancée and I nerding out about music in a structured, fun way that I’m excited to “share” on the first of September. Director’s Club will also return soon!
