One-sided relationships are rare. Both partners are gaining something from it. Exceptions do exist but for most of us, no matter how painful our relationship may feel, we are always gaining something. So, if you hate your relationship, ask yourself, what exactly are you gaining from being in it?

When dating, instead of evaluating the man or chasing excitement, check in with your body. How do you feel in his presence? If you feel calm, comfortable, relaxed & at peace, this is often your body signaling, "This person may be good for us." Give him a few more dates or date em til you hate em!

'He's boring' When chaos or emotional highs have been the norm, the calm stability of a healthy connection can feel unfamiliar or dull. Boredom is often your nervous system feeling safe/peace vs being accustomed to living in survival mode. Stability can be boring, but essential for healthy bonds.

When dating we can often make the mistake of searching for chemistry. Issue is, chemistry often comes from familiarity rooted in unresolved childhood pain. Unconsciously we recognize these patterns, leading to feeling intense chemistry with someone only to later realize they remind us of our past.
