One year of consistently working on my portrait sketches has led to: - Confident lines + Line weight - Faster Speed (1-2 hours per sketch) - Sketches look like finished drawings - Able to include/see more detail Keep practicing even if it feels like there is no progress today.

god it feels so cheap (tho i don't feel that abt other people) but i'd really like to keep making art. want to honour the life/lives that've always been real to me, freakish and complicated, and, lives yet unattained. i hope it always brings me closer rather than push me further away. to you, even
