Trump isn’t asking the court to settle his lawsuit against himself for $1.7B of our money. He’s telling the court he’s doing it. How can the judge have no say in the matter?

He didn’t move. He’s filed notice. He’s not asking for the court’s permission. He’s telling the court he’s dropping the lawsuit. But the settlement for $1.7B is not mentioned. Which means if he goes ahead with the slush fund, it will be without court approval.

Trump just stole $1.8B. He’s going to give it to his business, his kids, and people like Flynn, Eastman, Giuliani, and the Oath Keepers. He’s doing this without court approval or Congress. This is a crime, but there’s no one to prosecute it because the DoJ is in on it.

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that corporate media NOT frame this as a judicial settlement. Trump DROPPED the suit this morning. There is no lawsuit, and therefore, no settlement. you can’t settle a suit that doesn’t exist. This is just pure theft.
