did a little test print the other day to make sure the font size is readable irl on the dead mum zine. probably should have done it earlier, not when i already had 20 pages laid out but thankfully i think it's fine 👍 i've definitely had smaller text on some of my quarter size zines 💀

i had good time but holy shit is my body too old for this shit. buying a cane for next time i do this, maybe that'll help (i leaned on a pillar during the support band and that helped but we ended up at the front for the main and i almost got guitared in the face several times, oops)

i think once i've sorted out the dead mum zine, i'll put my pussy into putting together a full colour art zine of the nonsense i've drawn in the last 3½ years.

like the fool i am, i also applied for a sewing pattern test this and the testing period falls mostly on a time i'm busy with zine fair prep this month but again technically i have the time but we'll see if i even get picked. every pattern test needs one chaos tester and that could be me lol

thinking if i want to actually finish the dead mum zine this time, i should probably drop the fantasy of writing a whole ass fic for stobin mini bang since i have barely even started it. there's technically time for both but... i know me.

checked the page count for the dead mum zine again and it's like 80 A5 pages in a reasonably small font size (modern typewriter in 10pt) with nothing but the text. it’s over 20,000 words. ugh this is gonna be a problem 😭 i would like to have out it at glasgow zine fest at the end of may though.
