It's PLR statement day! Massive thanks to the 1010 people who borrowed Out Of The Woods and Men At War from their local libraries this past year. Often feels like people don't realise that we get paid when people borrow books from libraries, but we do, and it is hugely appreciated x

PLR day, for those who don’t know, is when UK authors discover how many times their books were borrowed from UK libraries last year - and receive a small payment in return. Just £14.50 for me this year but that’s my best for several years and every little helps! #PLR

In this Year of Reading, a gentle reminder: The best way to get your kids reading is to let them see *you* reading. The way to *stop* your kids reading is to criticize their choices, or to make reading a competition, or a punishment, or a race, or a learning tool. Let it be fun. Let them read.
