Am Ende des Tages, in 2026, wir sind geöffnet - das sind Übernahmen aus dem Englischen. Doch warum klingt „Wir sind geöffnet“ so seltsam? Mit dem Subjekt assoziiert man im Deutschen meist handelnde Personen (hier: wir). Und diese sind nicht geöffnet, sie haben geöffnet.

Der neue Beirat des Historischen Museums Frankfurt hat sich konstituiert. Ich freue mich, das Museum in den kommenden vier Jahren als Mitglied des Beirats zu unterstützen und gemeinsam mit der Direktorin Dr. Doreen Mölders an seinem zentralen Anliegen mitzuwirken: ein Museum für alle zu sein.
