The people who apply to be ICE agents do it on the basis that they will be able to hurt and humiliate people without having to face consequences and I believe there are well meaning people who can't wrap their minds around that but every politician suggesting otherwise is trying to pick your pocket.

Living with chronic illness involves constantly advocating with doctors to get what you need. Getting treatments and medications is exhausting. You'll spend years trying to figure out what works. Finally seeing improvement is emotional. I feel angry and happy. Part of me is afraid it won't last.

If you can make it to Rush Hospital in Aurora, IL, an ICE patroller got pulled out of her car, assaulted and pepper sprayed by agents. She's in the hospital and nobody except ICE is allowed to see her. There's a call to assemble and demand ICE leave the hospital, and let her husband in to see her.

Finally getting prescribed a beta blocker for POTS. Wish me luck! I'll update this in a week with how the medication is working for me.

ICE all across the northwest side of Chicago with hotspots in Hermosa and Belmont Cragin. There is a recent development in Logan square as well around Central Park and armitage where videos and eyewitnesses are sharing tear gas thrown at protesters trying to intervene.
