Our morning started bright and early with our annual Transit Month Kickoff Rally and Ride Along! We rode in from the newly rejuvenated West Portal Station to City Hall, where speakers discussed the importance of Muni and Bay Area transit, and their hopes for the future of our transit systems.

Having a walkable city and safe streets depends on strong public transit. We ❤️ Muni this month and all year long, and need to be sure it stays strong.

Rally at the state building steps in SF demanding that the Gov keep the budget deal to keep transit running, save San Francisco and the Bay Area @governor.ca.gov

Huge BART ridership to fun events like this won’t happen if Governor Newsom doesn’t approve a $750 million loan to Bay Area transit agencies. Service will be decimated and folks who have the option will drive instead. Join me at an emergency rally Monday at 9 to stand up for transit funding.

One of my kids was denied the Covid booster today at San Francisco Walgreens. I wasn’t able to provide an acceptable reason for eligibility, they will require a prescription. Attesting to a medical condition they wrote down the name of for the other kid was good enough. Be forewarned.
